Aircraft that can fly without a human inside and are controlled by a pilot with a control link or flown with autonomous operation planning are called Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV). Unmanned Aerial Vehicles first appeared in the form of electric model airplanes. In our country, UAV activities, which started as a modeling hobby in the 1990s, have turned into a special area with different usage areas and exported in parallel with technological developments and as a result of commercial initiatives. Although the use of low-weight and high-torque internal combustion engines is common in Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, it is observed that two-stroke internal combustion engines are widely used today, especially in low-altitude (1000-2000 m) and small-scale UAV production. In this study; By using Reverse Engineering and Finite Element Method (FEM), a more economical under-cloud mission locally and nationally on all metallurgical properties of the two-stroke internal combustion low-altitude 61 cc UAV engine, which is the most demanded and therefore imported from abroad and not produced in our country. A review has been made to develop an engine that can be performed. As a result of our research work, ideal material properties were determined according to the results of the experiments carried out by us and the first example 61 cc engine was produced by the researchers. The flight tests of the manufactured engine were completed using a UAV with a wingspan of 3 meters. As a result, with this research, a UAV engine with domestic and national characteristics, capable of competing with imported engines, was produced within the scope of university-industry cooperation.
