Abstract (EN)
This study examines the use of the principle of movement in interactive digital installations, which are a contemporary and innovative form of digital art. Within the scope of the study, the principle of movement is evaluated not only as a physical phenomenon, but also as an aesthetic structure enriched by elements such as direction, rhythm and movement that take shape in the perception of the viewer. First, the concept of movement is emphasized in the context of plastic arts, and then the transformation of this concept in artistic productions is examined within the framework of modern art movements. Then, the process of digitalization of art is emphasized, and how movement is defined and experienced at the points where new media, artificial intelligence and technology intersect with art is presented with examples. Interactive installations produced with digital technologies in particular transform the relationship between the viewer and the work, showing that movement is not only a conceptual structure but also goes beyond being a visual element. In this context, the examples examined within the scope of the research reveal the way movement is perceived in interactive digital installations and how this is handled by artists
