Abstract (EN)

Key Words: Distance Learning, Internet Technologies, Internet Based Learning, System, System Analysis In the system analysis of Internet based learning as being the subsystem of distance learning will be fulfilled in four phases. This phases are; examining the curret system, determining the problems, presenting solutions for problems and implementing the solutions. This system analysis study, system will be divided into 3 parts. These parts are, employees and management structures as system's own, lecturers in system and the students. Goal of this study is making a system analysis to internet based learning and implementing the solutions which obtained in analysis. After a general introduction, in first chapter distance learning and internet based learning concepts will be mentioned. Afterwards in second chapter, system and system analysis concepts will be mentioned. In third chapter, a literature research will be made about system analysis and distance learning over the world and the subject of this study "System analysis in Internet Based Learning" will be explained. In last chapter, consequences deriven from analysis and solution offers to these consequences will be presented. After analysing the system advertising of SAÜİDÖ, systems' organisational structure and management's attitudes were determined as the biggest problems have to be solved. In organisational structure of system should re-engineered, a SWOT analysis should be made, advertising the system more than current advertisement and increasing the technological investments to improve and develop the system. And for implementing the solutions, an implementing chart has given. x
