The usage of Turkish in the writtings at internet seetings

Developing communication technology has brought plenty of novelties with itself. In this century, the most important novelty in the communication devices internet. The researches about language have been made in almost every field in which language is used. As the usage of internet in our country is new, any research about usage of language in this field hasn't been done. So, this paper will fill the gab in this field. The documents used in this research, are taken from discussion groups which were established for communication in internet. The groups that have the language, education and culture contexts among the discussion groups are chosen. In the internet, the one of the way used for sending any knowledge to someone is using "elmek". That is called also e-mail or electronic post. In the introducing and first part of the paper, the conceptual dimension of the content has been examined. In the introducing part, language usage in communication devices and letter and electronic post subjects in education have been examined. In the second part of the paper, it has been explained that how its model, its narrative, its sample, collecting data technique and data's evaluation were done by stating the research's method. In the third part, there are findings held from the electronic posts that were examined in the resarch. The electronic posts have been examined under three headings in the research. These are: 1. On account of written narrative rules, 2. On account of that it carries the characterstics of letter genre, 3. And on account of the original characterstics of e-mails.VI According to the findings from the research, in the e-mails that were sent to discussion groups, written narrative rules haven't been taken into consideration carefully. There are very important responsibilities at educational activities in order to provide this care and the necessary abilitiy. Child uses the language that he/she learnt in family and school surroundings all his/her life long. Thus, in the educational period, a good language abilitiy should be acquired to child. There are also great responsibilities to the people who are in the administration of discussion groups about the usage of language. The most important one of these responsibilities is ensuring everybody; who are the members of this group, using language correctly and effectively. Language is the most important device that provides the communication among people. So, it should be used well in every situation. Everybody who uses internet as communicational and knowledge transfering device should be careful about using language correcetly and well; because, this is the essential condition of healthy communication among people.
