Inventory management and material requirements planning (MRP)

Ill ABSTRACT Nowadays, a specially in our country due to changes in economic conditions, companies are forced to implement cost reduction policies this savings helps the firms to gain competitive advantage in the market and to contribute to solve.short and middle term liquidity problems this results minimizing the sources tied on inventory, price advantage and effective use of sources. In this study inventory systems and MRP as one of the computer aided Inventory Systems are explained in general, and the most effective use of safety stocks in MRP Systems is discussed in order to minimizing resources tied on inventory.
