Abstract (EN)
The main purpose of this study is to reveal the relationship of pre-service ELT teachers' level of intercultural sensitivity and intercultural communicative competence. The participants of the study were 130 pre-service ELT teachers who were 99 females and 31 males. Data were collected through Chen and Starosta's (2000) Intercultural Sensitivity Scale and Başol's Intercultural Communicative Competence Self-Assessment Tool (2017). Then, the descriptive analysis and Bivariate Pearson's correlation were made with the help of SPSS software program. As a result of the analysis, it was revealed that the level of the intercultural sensitivity and intercultural communicative competence of pre-service ELT teachers were high. Also, a strong and positive linear correlation between intercultural sensitivity and intercultural communicative competence have been found.
