Investigating of root canal treatment which performed by research assistant and specialist doctor at Faculty of Dentistry, Karadeniz Technical University: A Long Term Retrospective Study

The aim of this study was to evaluate of root canal treatments performed by faculty members in KTU Faculty of Dentistry Endodontic Clinic and investigate the success rate.According to the results of our study; age, diabetes, jaw localization, tooth localization, post-endodontic restoration, harmony of restoration margins and presence of post-core restoration were not effective factors on the results of root canal treatment. Gender, dental group, pre-treatment pulpal and periapical condition, ending of root canal treatment, its homogeneity and shape, and the function of the tooth in the mouth were factors that affect the results of root canal treatment.
