Abstract (EN)
In this work, purification and isolation of major compounds from Rhododendron luteum's leaves by spectroscopic techniques was aimed. Dried and powdered leaves were respectively extracted with %80 ethanol, water and chloroform. Extracts were controlled on TLC. Isolation and purification studies were carried out. Five (5) major compounds were isolated after chromatographic studies. Their moleculer structures were identified as D-Fructose, D-Xylose, D-Mannitol, Avicularin and Isoquercetin by using spectroscopic techniques (1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, HSQC, HMBC, COSY) and literature data. These compounds isolated for the first time from Rhododendron luteum plant.
