Özet (EN)
Diabetes Mellitus is a disease that is divided into Type-1 and Type-2 and its incidence increases day by day. Understanding the causes of this disease increases its disease-fighting effectiveness and disease prevention capacity. The number of studies on this disease is increasing day by day. In this study, interleukin-6 level and some other biochemical markers in the development of diabetes were examined. As a result of the experimental studies, it was determined that the level of interleukin-6 is high in type-1 and type-2 diabetes patients. In addition, it has been found that interleukin-6 level is associated with HbA1c. While serum insulin levels and IL 6 were higher in the T2DM and T1DM groups, there was no significant difference in IL 6R between the T1DM, T2DM and control groups. It is considered that the increase in interleukin level may be a sign of diabetes.
