Investigation of Gültekin Emre's poems in terms of thematic and structure

Gültekin Emre was born in Konya in 1951. İn his earlier years (3,5), they settled down in Ankara after his father died. İn 1980, he left Ankara, wehere he lived in his youth amd he settled down in Germany. After he worked for 30 years as a teacher for expat children, he retired and in the meantime, he left a mark (made an impression) on the world of literature with his poems. He is a translator, magazine – newspaper aouthor, a researcher and a poet. While the influences of Socialist Realistic poem were seen in his early poems were seen in his early poems, he later was under the influence of the Second New Movement and he created a world of poem that includes the image-based and experimented poems. Besides, he carried out documentary studies about Tuskish people and artistswho lived in Germany. At the first part of aour study, we give insight into the life and literary personality of the poet. At the second part, we examine his poems in terms of theme and we reveal the prominent themes in his poems. At the third part, we make a structural review and reveal the structural components. At the fourth part, we examine his poems interms of image and we attach the interview with Gültekin Emre at the fifth part. At the end of this study, we try to reveal the poetic world of Gültekin Emre. Key words: Gültekin Emre, literary personality, theme, structure, image world.
