Abstract (EN)
This study was conducted at Hatila Valley National Park and Artvin Forestry Administration, Taşlıca Forest Sub-District Directorates in 2019. Data from pheromone trap captures were used. The correlation between areas with very high density of I. typographus in the study area and environmental factors affecting this density was determined by Frequency Ratio Method. A total of 783,445 I. typographus adults were caught in the study. A total of 6529 beetles were caught per trap on average. Of the studied area, 12.83% has very high, 19.70% has high, 36.62% has medium, 21.15% has low and 9.70% has very low susceptibility against I. typographus. It's found that pure spruce and spruce dominated mixed stands that are in south, southeast, southwest, west and northwest aspects, between 0° - 2° and 20° - 40° slope and that are 100 - 600 m away from forest roads are the most susceptible areas. It is also determined that areas with high and medium soil moisture content and most sun exposed stands are the most susceptible areas.
