Investigation of luminaire and room's properties on uniform lighting in a home example.

The main goal in the lighting system is to provide a clear image. It is very important to provide a clear image system in offices, various work areas, residences, road lighting, shopping malls, hospitals and security areas. It takes time for the human eye to adapt to different light levels in different environments. Therefore, a homogeneous image, in other words utility, is sought in ambient light. The illuminance level should be planned taking into account all the standard planning methods limited to empty rooms, not just the objects in the environment. In order to address this situation, the DIALux program has been developed, which provides the calculation of the luminance and brightness distributions in the rooms. In this study, a home lighting design, which is widely used with LED luminaires, was made and the illumination calculations were compared by making changes on this design. Therefore, the lighting systems, luminaires, calculation methods and the results arising from the program used will be examined and inspected.
