Özet (EN)

The purpose of this research is to examine the relationships between teachers' individual job performance and various demographic and job-related variables and to identify important findings resulting from these relationships. Understanding the factors affecting teachers' job performance is important to improve the strategies of educational institutions and increase teachers' job satisfaction. This study can help educational institutions better understand teachers' needs and take appropriate measures to improve job performance. In the research, the "Individual Work Performance Questionnaire" survey form, developed by Koopmans et al. (2013) to measure task and contextual performance and counterproductive work behavior dimensions, was adapted into Turkish and the Individual Work Performance Scale was developed by Köroğlu, Kaba and Öztürk (2021). The Vocational Satisfaction Scale, which was developed by Yıldız Kuzgun, Seher Aydemir Sevim and Zeynep Hamamcı in 1997 and consists of 20 items, was used. Within the scope of the research, statistical methods such as correlation analysis and ANOVA were used to examine the relationships between teachers' individual job performance and demographic and job-related variables such as gender, age, marital status, education level, and working time at the school. In total, the data of 425 teachers were examined. When the findings obtained within the scope of the research were examined, a significant difference was found between job performance and contextual performance according to gender, but no difference was found in terms of counterproductive work behaviors. Significant relationships were determined between the variables of marital status, educational status and working hours at the school and job performance. Correlation analysis results revealed that factors such as qualifications compliance, desire for development, and professional satisfaction have a strong relationship with job performance. This research has revealed several factors that influence teachers' individual job performance. These findings can help educational institutions better understand teachers' needs and develop appropriate strategies to improve job performance.
