Abstract (EN)
In recent years, as a result of the increased use of electronic devices, there has been an increase in the electromagnetic field emitted by these devices as well. Various technical shield fabrics are needed to protect people from the harmful effects of electromagnetic fields created by these devices. In this thesis, nine different conductive textile materials were produced from stainless steel wire (18-micron, 35-micron, 50-micron) as a conductive material and cotton yarn (50/1 Ne, 60/1 Ne, 70/1 Ne) as textile material. Cotton yarns and stainless-steel blend hybrid yarns are produced by hollow spindle method. These yarns have been knitted by a circular knitting machine to form a textile fabric. In addition, the control fabrics have been knitted from 100% cotton fabrics. These fabrics have been dyed with reactive dyes in laboratory type dyeing machines. Color differences, color strength, electrical surface resistance, washing and rubbing fastness and thermal conductivity of these fabrics have been evaluated and compared to control fabrics. ANOVA two-factor random analysis method has been used to see the effect of variable values (cotton yarn count and metal wire diameter) on the results. It has been determined that surface resistance would be reduced by adding metal wires to the fabric. In addition, it has been observed that color differences, color strength, abrasion resistance and thermal conductivity values increased as metal wire thickness increased in fabric content.
