Contributions of Silk Road to cultural heritage in world tourism: Kazakhstan sample

In this study, the Great Silk Road not only an old trading tool at medieval just passing through Europe and Asia from the Atlantic Ocean of China and it is determined is a communication bridge between Western and Eastern cultures, which today's, economicaly, culturally and politically pain has been found to be of great importance. This peace axis trade route it has been investigated whether can be evaluated in terms of tourism. The longest part of the route was through Kazakhstan and Central Asia. In our study, the contribution of the Great Silk Road to the world civilization and culture, also very rich tangible and intangible cultural heritages of Turkic-Islamic civilization bring world civilization and humanity. It has been identified that Great Silk Road had lived its golden periods in the Central Asia at medieval period. It was observed that the civilizations founded by the Great Silk Road in Central Asia were the fruits of thought and science, such as Mahmoud, Biruni, İbn-i Sina, Farabi, Ali Kuşçu. Central Asian intellectuals from the crossroads of Chinese, Persian, Hindu and Islamic civilizations have fed their works from all these sources. Formation and development of Eurasia's intercontinental highway trade routes, revealing the cultural heritage of the great ancient states, the establishment of long-term political, diplomatic and commercial relations that require secure peace efforts among the existing countries is related to the fundamental issues of the present-day Silk Road. The radiating elements of civilization in the Great Silk Road is not just about trade and road system. Caravans, caravanserais, markets, bazaars and developing cities are the symbols of the Great Silk Road. It is of great importance to bring these cultural values into international tourism. In our article; the present situation, by identifying are experts and public of the Great Silk Road, it is thought that a new perspective can be given to tourism in Kazakhstan.
