Abstract (EN)

This research focuses on the schools in the formal education system of today's Iran, the Islamic Republic of Iran, as of 2023, and the arts education applied in those schools. Accordingly, the art education of the Iranian cultural country, which comes with deep historical testimony, is handled as an element coming from the cultural accumulation of the country, under the upper frame of general education .While evaluating the art education element, the political past in the country and the current conjuncture in the world were taken into account. In this context, many Persian articles published in the country were examined, and the structure of the text was strengthened by quoting from the foremost English texts and many other languages. The 300-year history of art education in the country has been organized in such a way as to form a whole with the orientation of all these resources. In the process starting from Kashgars and continuing until today's Islamic Republic, some facts, including political reasons, which direct the state of art education in the country, have been examined. Through the articles examined as a result of the research, it has been observed that the art education given in Iran is not taken very seriously by those who implement the program. In addition, the arts education curricula given in many other countries were also evaluated mutually with Iran through related articles. As a result, it was seen that Iran designed an education process based on Islamic values and traditions. It was seen that these values gained even more importance after the 1979 Islamic Revolution.
