The effect of cartoon flms that are broadcasted in iran on the education of the elementary students

In the study, the effects of the cartoon films that are broadcasted in Iranian television channels on the elementary students going to 1-5th class are evaluated according to their parents and teachers. The space of the study is the elementary students who are being educated in the girl and boy schools of the capital of Iran, Tehran. In the study, in choosing samples form the space, a total of 263 students, 263 parents and 90 teachers from 6 schools which are in different sections of the city culturally, socially and economically are taken as samples with random sampling. In the scope of this study, for all the samples three different questionnaires which are prepared in Persian language have been used, the information that has been obtained has been evaluated and the results are laid down as tables. Taking into consideration that the Iranian television channels are limited and all of them belonging to the government, the cartoon film CD?s that are prevalent in the country and the cartoon movies that are being watched from satellite channels in a wide area but secretly are also taken into consideration in the study. As a result of the study 1) The cartoon films that are broadcasted on Iranian television channels are being watched by the elementary students at least one hour a day. 2) The majority of the students are being affected by the cartoon films that are being broadcasted on television either in a good or bad way. 3) The affection rate and type shows a meaningful difference taking the district and gender into consideration. The recommendations of the researcher based on the problems that arise as the result of the study are given.
