Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, the efficiency of the thermosiphon heat pipe was investigated for two different hybrid nanoparticles under four different thermal loads. Three different concentrations of each nanoparticle combination were considered and distilled water was used as the working fluid due to its low cost. Addition of nanoparticles to the working fluid can increase the thermal efficiency of heat pipes. In general, nanofluids are known to significantly improve the thermal properties of TIB by reducing the thermal resistance and increasing the thermal efficiency of TIB. The thermal performance of TIB is strongly dependent on operating variables, particularly the type and concentration of nanoparticles, and the addition of surfactant and heat inputs. The use of multiple nanoparticles with different properties instead of a single type of nanoparticle has made a difference. The aim of the thesis is to increase the efficiency of thermosiphon heat pipes (TIB), which is one of the heat pipe types with the lowest manufacturing cost and the simplest manufacturing stages; The aim of this study is to investigate the effects of adding hybrid nanoparticles to the working fluid. At the end of the thesis, it is aimed to determine the combination of nanoparticles that increase the performance of the thermosiphon heat pipe, to determine the performance and ideal concentration values, to obtain the correlation between the concentration and the ideal energy flux and to create knowledge for the mass production of such systems.
