Abstract (EN)

This study examined the concept of flow experience which was at first studied in such disciplines as sports and music and then introduced to the organizational literature as "work flow" by Csikszentmihalyi (1989). A review of the literature showed that although the topic of work flow has recently attracted considerable interest, there is still limited research examining the effect of work meaningfulness on employees' flow experiences. In order to fill this gap in the literature, the current study aimed at exploring the influence of work meaningfulness on work flow and the moderating role of nomophobia in this relationship. In testing the study hypotheses, data were collected from 389 academicians and analyzed through Hayes Process Macro program. The results confirmed the study prediction revealing that work meaningfulness positively influenced work flow. However, the findings did not support the moderating role of nomophobia on the relationship between the two constructs.
