Abstract (EN)

In this research, we examined the relationship between flow experience and job crafting and the moderator role of perceived organizational support(POS). The population of the research consist of mechanical engineers and designers working in companies manufacturing machinery in Denizli province of Turkey. Questionnaire was used as data collection tool in the study. In the first part of the study, the definition and importance of job crafting are mentioned, its dimensions are evaluated, and some studies on the effects of the concept at individual and organizational bases are included. In the second part of the study, the historical development, definition, importance of flow experience and the concepts of autotelic personality and autotelic activity, which are critical concepts of flow experience, are mentioned. A models developed for flow experience are mentioned and concepts associated with flow experience are explained in relavant literature. In the third part of the study, the definition and importance of perceived organizational support is scrutinized. After explaining the theoretical foundations and dimensions of the concept, the results on the individual and organizational levels are explained. Finally in the fourth part of the study, the goal, importance, method and findings of th research are included. Findings showed that task crafting has a corelation with flow experience dimensions which absorption, work enjoyment and intrinsic work motivation at moderate level(respectively; 0.302, 0.488 and 0.311). A moderate level corelation(0.360) found between cognitive crafting and work enjoyment. It was determined that %9,1 varince at absorption, %23,8 variance at work enjoyment and %9,7 variance at intrinsic work motivation were related to task crafting. %13 percent of work enjoyment was found to be related to cognitive crafting. Finally, our data did not supported the hypothesis that perceived organizational support has a moderator effect on the relationship of job crafting dimensions with flow experience dimensions.
