Abstract (EN)
The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of job satisfaction on organizational commitment upon the employees working at Başarı Holding which is a telecommunication company nationwide. The process analyse the changes occured in job satisfaction and organizational commitment level related to employees demographic specialties; such as age, gender, marital status, educational background and service life .The first part of the study is to evolve a theoretical framework of job satisfaction on organizational commitment; in the literature, researches were analized upon the concept and description of the theoretical approachment to the demographic, organizational and unorganizational factors that effects job satisfaction and organizational commitment.Case study research method is used in the second part of the study in order to measure the effect of job satisfaction on organizational commitment. Surveys were applied to 309 employees working at the Başarı Holding throughout the country. 281 useful surveys achieved %90,94 rate of return. Job Descriptive Index enhanced by Smith, Kendal and Hulin is used to designate the job satisfaction; Organizational Commitment Questionnaire enhanced by Porter and Smith is used to designate the organizational commitment. Sample Questionnaires were translated, interpreted, and used relevantly. The data recieved from the Applied Questionnaires were respectively coded and transfered to the database SPSS 15.0 program. Frequency and crosstabs analysis were made after the data entered to the database in which properties reacted to the job satisfaction and organizational commitment were diagnosed. Correlation analysis performed in order to test the relationship between the job satisfaction and the organizational commitment. Pearson Product-Moment Correlation and Spearman?s Rank Correlation methods were used to achieve this correlation.
