Abstract (EN)
In order to use energy efficiently, waste heat and solar energy , renewable energy sources which exist only for a certain period of time, should be stored. For this, liquid water ,which has a high thermal capacity, is commonly used as storage mass.As the density of the water changes depending upon heat , the water , of which heat changed in the course of heating and cooling,is exposed to convections currents in the storage and accelerates its heat transmission. Even though this may seem advantageous at first, as the temperature gradient is lost due to heat exchange, the heat recovery from the storage takes places at lower temparatures. In order to prevent concevtion currents and to obtain there covered heat at higher temperatures, water that is impregnated with fibreglass has been thought to be used. The test of this idea is the focus of this study. The result of there search show that water impregnated with fibreglass acts like a solid substance, enabling there covered heat to be retrieved at even higher temparatures than storage which does not involve fibreglases,However,it was observed that there is a decrease in the amount of stored energy, and the heat transfer rate decreases too.
