Abstract (EN)

Occupational health and safety are systematic practices that are designed to determine the adverse effects that may arise in the workplace and to eliminate these problems. Occupational health and safety considerably affect the occupation, the workplace and the state. Relevant laws, regulations and professional organizations require various regulations to prevent accidents and occupational diseases and to establish healthy and reliable business environments. Such regulations increase the reputation of the employer while protecting the health of the worker. The State, on the other hand, provides for savings from work incidents and occupational diseases if favorable conditions are met. Nowadays, work is being carried out by the state to make occupational health and safety imperative in the public and private sectors. In this thesis, it is aimed to improve occupational health and safety processes in order to create a safe working environment and to create a lean occupational safety model, and a sample application in a chemistry laboratory.
