In this study, the relationship between job satisfactions of perceptions about occupational health and safety of workers has been researched.The sample of the research includes 137 workers who work in a special metal firm operating in Sakarya.The study consists of three main parts. First and second parts consist of theoretical part in which the terms of occupational health and safety are explained. The third part includes a research that was made in a special metal firm to determine the relationship between job satisfactions of perceptions about occupational health and safety of workers.In the study, data collection tool, which consists of three parts, has been used; in the first part, Personal Characteristics Questionnaire consisting of 8 questions for personal details of workers who participated to the research; in the second part, Occupational Safety Perception Questionnaire with 15 questions to measure the occupational health and safety perceptions of workers, in the third part Minnesota Job Satisfaction Questionnaire with 20 questions to measure the dimensions of job satisfactions of workers are constituted.The relation between the variables has been checked with the correlation analysis besides the statistical techniques considered necessary on data analysis.According to the research there is a positive relation between the occupational health and safety perceptions and job satisfaction of workers. When the perception about occupational health and safety increases, the job satisfaction increases. The satisfaction connected with external factors is more important than the satisfaction connected with internal factors.There is a significant effect of occupational health and safety perception points on internal job satisfaction perception points of workers. There is a significant effect of occupational health and safety perception points on external job satisfaction perception points of workers.
