Abstract (EN)
Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) is a concept that has become more important with both its human and economic dimensions in working life with the increasing industrialization day by day. This area is also a wide-ranging issue with different effects, including a number of problems that may have profound effects on society. The devastating effects of occupational accidents and occupational diseases have had serious consequences since the beginning of industrialization. Over time, the necessity of taking some preventive measures on these issues has emerged. As a result of the development of social security and legal systems, these regulations have been formalized and expanded. There has been a need to make some mandatory changes related to these regulations in developing and developed countries. There are similar developments in our country as well. Regarding occupational safety, the "Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331", which came into force in 2013, has brought important regulations on the subject. Positive developments in employee health and safety can be expected with the regulations to be made and the constant sensitivity to the subject. It is natural that these developments have some social and economic benefits. When evaluated from a broad perspective, comprehensive studies on occupational health and safety should include professionals working in this field. In this study, by determining the conditions and problems of the professionals working in the field of OHS, their direct and indirect effects on working life are determined. In order to determine these factors, survey questions were sent to the relevant employees through questionnaires that analyzed the problems of occupational safety professionals working in the field of occupational health and safety. The data collected through the questionnaire were analyzed and evaluated with the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) program, and some suggestions were determined by discussing in the last section.
