Abstract (EN)

The Relation of Personal Performance and Job Satisfaction Keywords: Job satisfaction, personal performance, performance appraisal The most valuable entity of enterprises in today's business world is said to be intellectual capital, namely human resources. As result of modern technology and vertiginous developments in communication, all production factors except human resources are getting alike in all enterprises and do not provide a significant competitive advantage. Then it is human resources left back as the most important factor. It has become a necessity for enterprises to attach great importance to human needs in order to secure most productive and satisfying use of their human capital. The most effective use of human resources for enterprises is solely possible by increasing their performance. However, the idea of increasing performance despite everything brings about signnificant negative results for enterprises and employees. It is a necessity to take into consideration workers' job satisfaction in order to remove those negativenesses. Because, the performance and level of satisfaction of employees more and more gain importance for more effective and productive operation of enterprises. The main purpose of the study is to examine the relations between, these two concept, job satisfaction and personal performance. In this framework, first of all, job satisfaction has been examined in various ways. In the second part, the relations between performance issue and job satsifaction has been evaluated. After the theorotical examination, an enguiry about the evaluation of the relations between satisfaction and performans has been made in three enterprises. VII
