Workplace bullying (mobbing) and a sample study

Within the business life, mobbing has been approached as all types of intimidation,suppression, depression and exclusion process towards a person or a group of persons. Itis generally abstract but sometimes tangible oppression manner which has been aimingto transform the active employees within the business life into passive ones or melt themaway. Also described as emotional oppression, mobbing, by creating psychologicalpressure over the person who has been targeted, has been intending to fade away theperson's identity as an employee with regular, continued and insisted oppressions .In this study, primarily, it has been mentioned about the aim, context, method andconstraints of the the dissertation.In the second section, mobbing has been terminogically explained by identifying thepsychological intimidation concept.In the third section, stages and progress of the psychological intimidation (mobbing)have been explained by analyzing the psychological intimidation (mobbing) process andits effects.In the forth section, it has been analyzed the ways to cope with mobbing and mentionedabout it?s importance and its place by explaining the effects over families, organization,society and country's economy. Moreover, the sentences regarding the subject in Turkeyand Europe have been analyzed.In the fifth section, there has been a research about the psychological intimidation(mobbing) in work place. There has been mentioned about the aim and findings of thisresearch. Additionally, there has been a survey study carried out in a public enterpriseabout mobbing. Besides, the subject has been analyzed by using the SPSS 16programme.
