Assessment of finding workman, selection and placement decisions in the context of gestalt school (An application on students of economics and administrative sciences)

In this study, it is aimed to the investigation of the effects of mindfulness, live the moment, and gestalt contact forms on decision-making styles of candidate students in the future who will decide to finding workman, selection, and placement. As a sample, 1st and 4th years students who have an undergraduate education in Dokuz Eylül Unversity, Faculty of Economic and Administrative Sciences, Labor Economics and Industrial Relations Department has been selected. Students' conditions that mindfulness, live the moment, and gestalt contact forms on decision-making styles determined with the scales. As students use the gestalt contact form in the direction of the analyzed data, mindfulness, live the moment, rational decision-making styles are decreasing significantly and escape decision-making styles are increasing. Nevertheless, as students rational decision-making styles increase with increasing mindfulness and live the moment significantly, while spontaneous-decision-making style decrease. With these results, it can be said that the condition of mindfulness, live the moment and gestalt contact forms are affecting the people's decision making styles.
