Özet (EN)

In our study, it was aimed to determine phenotypic and genotypic determinants of E. fergusonii agents in cattle populations cultivated and to determine antibiotic susceptibilities. Animals that constitute the research material were obtained from cattle breeding farms and a total of 100 rectal swabs were collected from animals with diarrhea complaints. The swabs were incubated at 37 ° C for 24 hours in tubes containing 5 ml of Tryptic Soy Broth (TSB) after being brought to the Adnan Menderes University Veterinary Faculty Department of Microbiology without delay in the cold chain. After preincubation in TSB, a whole volume of suspension from each liquid medium will suspended and Simon Citrate Agar supplemented with 4% adonitol will incubated for 24 hours at 37 ° C. Sorbitol MacConkey agar was inoculated by choosing dark yellow and orange colonies which were adonitol positive from the breeding observed colonies. Transparent Gram negative small cocobacillus colonies that did not ferment sorbitol to SMAC agar which was incubated at 37 ° C for 24 hours and tested by API 20E test kit to determine their biochemical properties. A total of 49 E. coli isolates were identified and identified as a result of the API test. As a result of the molecular identification of the isolates named as E. coli uidA, which is the result of the identification tests of the API 20E, and the molecular identification with Efer 13 e Efer YP primers, it was found that there were multiple strains of E. fergusonii strains and these strains were also identified as uidA gene have been identified. As a result of the molecular identification of the isolates identified as E. coli uidA, which is the result of the identification tests of the API 20E, and the molecular identification with Efer 13 e Efer YP primers, it was found that there were multiple strains of E. fergusonii strains and these strains were also identified as uidA gene have been identified. As a result of the antibiogram test, Amoxicillin-Clavulanic Oxytetracycline, Florfenicol and Cefoperazone were determined as effective antibiotics against field strains.
