Abstract (EN)

In this study was conducted on rhythm education and rhythmic skill development features in hearing impaired children, and it was aimed to determine the effects of rhythm education on the developmental characteristics of hearing impaired children as it was applied to children without hearing impairment. It is aimed to develop skills such as listening and attention, and to ensure that they did not fall behind their peers in terms of developmental featuresThe study was carried out continuously with 6 hearing impaired people. Rhythm times and rhythm forms were applied. In this study musical traning program which suitable for hearing impaired childrens characteristics had being applied for 12 weeks to 6 hearing impaired children. According to the data which obtained from this research; It had been found that the rhythm education program developed in the social life of the hearing-impaired children on the developmental characteristics of children and musical education improved their skills, language development, mental development and physical development.
