Abstract (EN)
Our research is the evaluation and examination of physical education, sport and recreational activities' effects on hearing impaired children, in terms of supplementary education. This study is undertaken by being applied to 183 students being educated in 2007-2008 school years.In our research the idea and opinions of children are revealed by conducting poll. The survey form consists of seven parts and in the 7 questions of the first part personal and socio-cultural features; in the 5 questions of the second part the benefits of the lesson physical education; in the 6 questions of the third part the flow of lesson; in the 6 questions of the fourth part the preparation of students for the lesson; in the 6 questions of the fifth part the factors leading to sport; in the 6 questions of the sixth part family members' spur to sport and lastly in the 6 questions of the seventh part free time activities, such subjects are handled and likert scale is used.This datas which are determined with Gallup method, arrangedin MS Exel for statistic procress. We used SPSS statistic program fort he validity and responsibility. In this statistic tests we performed cross tabolation and chi square test in SPSS.The poll is carried out by talking it over with students one by one. In this work ,the problems are handled and we tried to find solutions to these problems. It is observed that behaviours of impaired children are formed according to the conduct of the lesson and if these children are not satisfied with the conduct of the lesson, not only they can not relax, but also they even get more uncomfortable. Also it is seen that when the lesson is supported with the educational games, both much more students follow the lesson actively and also they relax mentally. The reasons of the interest of the handicapped in sport are respectively family's encouragement, the trend of the environment and the admiration for sportsmen.In the last part of our research some advices are presented to solve the current problems.Keywords : Activity, Physical Education, Hearing İmpaired, Recreation.
