According to the iron and steel companies in Iskenderun region, problems and solution recommendations of export for the iron and steel sector

Iron and steel sector has a great importance in the growth, development and development of a country. Because the Iron And Steel sector provides raw materials to many main and sub-sectors connected to it. In our country, the iron and steel sector contributes greatly to the national economy by producing products for the needs of the domestic market, protecting our country as much as possible from dependence on foreign sources and exporting the products abroad. Iskenderun region, which is the subject of this study, is one of the important iron and steel production regions where iron and steel sector is located in our country. With this thesis, the problems faced by the iron and steel industry in exports and solutions are addressed especially for the companies engaged in iron and steel production in İskenderun Region. The thesis consists of three parts. In the first part, general information about iron and steel sector and iron and steel sector in the world are examined. In the second part, the iron and steel industry in Turkey are discussed. In the third chapter, the development of iron and steel industry in Iskenderun Region and the problems faced by the sector in export are examined with a survey. In the conclusion part, the general evaluation of this study and the solution proposals related to the export problems in İskenderun region are listed.
