This fact is the most essential reason for deciding the issue ?the Legal Nature of Marriage Contract in Islamic Law? as the thesis subject.In our thesis, firstly, the theory and bond of the contract is explained. Then, the marriage contract is constructed upon the theory and bond of the contract.Secondly, under the heading of marriage contract, the religious aspect of marriage contract is explained; and then the functional similarities between civil marriage contract and Islamic one are explored.Lastly, some evaluations and suggestions are made on various areas and dimensions of the marriage contract.
