Abstract (EN)
As in every period of history, the subject of destiny, which still maintains its im-portance, is directly related to human acts. Because debates on human freedom and re-sponsibility have been shaped around the role of human in actions. Such questions relat-ed to the occurrence of human actions as who the agent is, how the act is formed, have required the power to be taken to the center. In this sense, the study of the relationship between power and act in the context of human freedom and responsibility is important in terms of the foundation of fate thought. This research examines the historical backg-round of the power-action relation, the definition and structural features of power, the interaction of power in the formation of the action, and the moral dimension in the rela-tion of power to the action. Different ideas emerged in the early period of Islamic thought. In this respect, the first-term sources of the subject were investigated and the different views related to the subject were discussed in terms of the sectarian paradigm. Therefore, the debates that emerged in the first period on the subject have been tried to be revealed in a compara-tive way through the thought systems of Eş'ari (Allah centered), Muîtezilî (Man cen-tered) and Mâturîdî (Eclectic). It was limited specifically to the preliminary period as it was a time when different ideas emerged and started to systematize, and our thesis in-cludes contents to hijri V. century, namely to period of Gazhali (d.505/1111). In addi-tion, the rise of developments in modern science and the emergence of new information about the capabilities of human beings have made it necessary to exhibit a scientific app-roach to the power-action relationship.
