Commercial life in the pre-Islamic Hejaz region and the contributions of Islam to trade

The connection between Taif and Medina with Mecca was establishing by trade. The main reason for this is that these two cities were developed in areas such as agriculture and animal husbandry, and the Quraysh people marketed these products both by buying them for their needs and adding them to trade caravans. In Mecca, where production is made impossible due to the fact that it is a particularly arid region, the fact that there is an understanding of an outward-dependent economy has led to the establishment of many commercial relations. It is possible to explain this situation with Ilaf. As a matter of fact, in addition to the geographical location of Mecca, the presence of the holy temple in it has an important place in gaining commercial development. After the migration, Hazrat, one of the activities that Muhammad revealed in Medina was in an economic direction. Because in order for such a society to survive, in which different ethnic identities were formed and Jews were kept under economic domination, it required a new structure in which the entire segment was independent and supported each other financially and spiritually. The Madinah Agreement and the time of execution are aimed at this purpose. During this period, the Islamic union, which was trying to exist on the Medina trade route in the face of the polytheists, was aware that the ability to defeat the Taif and Mecca alliance, which continued as a threat, was through cutting off their trade routes. The gas and series of actions carried out for this had achieved their purpose, the polytheists' trade to the north had been disrupted by the Muslims' domination of the roads, and they had finally agreed to sit down at the treaty table. The Islamic state, which was established after the conquest of Mecca, acted under one roof in order to ensure unity in trade, and the growth in trade increased every day.
