Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this study is to reveal the economic contribution of Bingöl Soğuk Çeşme Roast, which is one of the local products and has a geographical indication certificate, on rural development. The fact that there has been no study on this subject so far shows that the importance of this subject should be emphasized. It is foreseen that by investigating this subject, it will provide significant contributions to the development of the animal husbandry-based food sector and the economy together with this sector, and thus bring positive results in terms of benefiting the local people. Within the scope of the research, factor analysis, which is one of the multivariate statistical analysis applications, was applied to determine the factors that consumers consider when purchasing Soguk Çeşme Roast, and 26 variables were reduced to six factors. First factor: Importance and Promotion of Soguk Çeşme Roast Second factor: Human health Third factor: Service Quality Fourth factor: Consumers' Tastes and Preferences Fifth factor: Price and Quality Sixth factor: Sales Point It was understood that the sum of these 6 factors explained 63.62% of the total variance and that the variables used were suitable for factor analysis with a KMO test value of 0.894 in the analysis.
