This study aims to determine the perception of in-service training and organizational commitment level of employees of a bank, which is at the top of 5 banks in the sector in terms of size of assets; to determine the relationship between in-service training and organizational commitment; and to determine the effect of in-service training on organization commitment. The study was conducted with 297 participants working in 32 branches of the bank's Central Anatolia Regional Office. The findings of the research show that employees' perceptions of in-service training are positive and organizational commitment is moderate. Organizational commitment levels of male employees are higher than female employees. Male employees' perceptions of in-service training are more positive than women. As the age increases, organizational commitment increases and perceptions towards in-service training become more positive. Perceptions of men about the sub-dimensions of in-service training, Future-Oriented Education, Success-Oriented Education, Valuing People and Improving Performance are more positive than women. Married opinions about Distance Education are more positive than single ones. In the study, it was found that there was a moderate and positive relationship between in-service training and organizational commitment. In other words, as perceptions towards in-service training become more positive, the organizational commitment of employees increases. In addition, the sub-dimensions of in-service training, Future-Oriented Education, Success-Oriented Education and Valuing People affect organizational commitment positively and Performance Enhancement Oriented Education negatively affect it. Distance education has no effect on organizational commitment. As a result, there is a positive relationship between in-service training and organizational commitment, and the bank needs to provide a success-oriented training by attaching value to people for the future in order to increase the organizational commitment of its employees.
