Abstract (EN)
The concept of Occupational health and Safety started to become substantially the main topic of conversation after the Industrial Revolation. Though there are many reserches on the relation of this concept and attidues of personnel and organisational safety and job satisfaction an quality. There are no researches abount the intention of cease of employment. The aim of this study is to make a contribution in the sense. Within this concept, the aim of this study is to show the connection between the practice of the work health and security and the reasons of why the workers leave the job. The other aims of this study are to find the effect of the practice of the work health and security on the reasons of why workers leave the job and to investigate the connections between the different demographic variables of the practice of the work health and security and the different demographic variables of the reasons of leaving the job. The sampling of this study is the 375 textile workers who work in the textile business in Tekirdağ/Çerkezköy. In this study, the quantity methods are used and the data is standardized through the survey method. The data is evaluated with the use of IBM SPSS 22 program and the average, the significance testing, the independence sampling, T-test, one-way anova, correlation and regression analysis are done. When the results are investigated, it is found that there is a weak, positive relation between the practice of the work health and security and the reasons of leaving the job. Furthermore, it is found that there is no significance difference between the work health and security and the variables such as the gender, the work accident, the illnesses, age, and the work time. However, it is also found that there is a significant difference between the marital status and the education level and the reasons of leaving the job
