Enterprise resource planning in entities planning during the setup process

Institutional resource planning, organizations in all departments to gather together and communicate with each other while providing a great contribution to organizations. Thus, all information of organizations is kept in a single database. In organizations where there is no enterprise resource planning system, units reach information with different methods by creating an information pool in line with the institution facilities. The acquisition of the right information at the desired time has been achieved by developments in information technologies and the management information systems that it is involved in are preferred in many enterprises. In this study, production management, development of enterprise resource planning, definition, contributions to organizations, reasons of preference of organizations, establishment of enterprise resource planning in organizations and influences of employees are included in this study. The study was conducted with a sample of 201 ERP workers for Airlines and Tourism entities catering suppliers relations between the demographic characteristics of the organizations and corporate resource planning were included. In the results obtained, the analyzes of the demographic characteristics of the organizations and the institutional resource planning and the thoughts of the employees about this situation were made and the relations between the two were obtained. After the analyzes performed, it was determined that corporate resource planning and employees were affected from this process and the results were expressed in tables. Although it has a high cost from the selection of corporate resource planning to the time of installation, it ensures the success of the organizations in the progressive processes. Therefore, corporate resource planning that can provide many benefits to organizations and employees' thoughts in this context will contribute to the literature.
