Abstract (EN)
A number of studies have shown the close relationship between organizational commitment and business performance. The aim of this thesis is to examine the relationship between organizational commitment and employee performance. The population of the study was composed of the health sector workers working in the province of Ankara, and the sample was comprised of 107 health workers who work in private health facilities in Ankara and agreed to participate in the study. In order to collect the research data, 9-questions which are related to determine demographical features, the Organizational Commitment Scale and the Business Performance Scale were used. The data of the research analyzed by SPSS. As a consequence of the study, it was found that there was a important relationship between organizational commitment and work performance, and emotional commitment and normative commitment had a significant positive effect on performance. Increases in emotional commitment and normative commitment lead to an increase in productivity level. Keywords: Business Performance, Organizational Commitment
