Abstract (EN)
Many present systems and products are so complex that no single company has all the necessary knowledge and skills about either the product or the required processes to completely design and produce them in-house. Nowadays companies need to be able to leverage and extend their current capabilities and they have to be willing to combine in-house capabilities with those of other companies?. An important purpose of this paper is to broaden and deepen some aspects of core competency and value added in telecommunication business. Also the aim of this paper is to study and analyze core competence, to identify the way to identify and manage it, to define the types of core competence. Core competencies has become an important strategic tool in today?s intensive competitive business environment. Many organisations are using core competencies to produce their business solutions. This paper reviews the development process and the strategic benefits and problems relating to the core competence decisions as well as its aplication process.
