The relationship between outsourci̇ng and development of core competence in businesses: A research at Aydın Organized Industrial Zone

The level competition augmented with the termination of borders in the business world and companies had to change their way of work in order to compete. Nowadays, change is the only thing that does not change. Companies also had to change their management styles in accordance with their strategic plans. To survive and to increase their market share, companies must be one step ahead of their competitors. In this context, companies use outsourcing for decreasing workload and thus companies' structure become more elastic and rapid. Companies using outsourcing can be more competitive by focusing on the areas of their expertise. The aim of thesis is to reveal the relationship between outsourcing and focusing on self- competencies of companies. Within this work, a quantitative research is made in the organized industrial zone of Aydın and in the organized industrial zone of Bursa-Kestel. Face to face survey methodology is applied and different scope questions are directed to companies. Results are assessed by using SPSS 21.0 packaged software. According to correlation analysis, self-competencies and outsourcing have a positive and significant relationship.
