Examining the works of İsmail Bilgin according to the method of story mapping

In this study, it is aimed to examine the works of İsmail Bilgin according to the story map method. The universe of the study consists of 145 works by İsmail Bilgin. The sample consisted of 44 story books determined by random method. Basic qualitative research model was preferred in the study. Document review was used as the data collection method. These 44 stories, which make up the sample, were examined according to the "Story Map" method used in text teaching. Each story is tabulated in terms of the elements of the story map. The stories were summarized and evaluated comparatively according to the elements of the story map. It is suggested that Bilgin's works should be discussed from different angles and methods together with the basic language skills of Turkish. It has been concluded that İsmail Bilgin's works have a rich content in terms of text elements. It has been suggested that these works should be brought together with parents and educators.
