Vocabulary and classification of concepts of İmail Gaspıralı's works

The Turkish Nation comes from ancient times, lives in very different lands and has a rich culture and civilization. This wealth has been transferred to future generations through poets and writers who have strong vocabulary, cultural accumulation and can reflect the nation's consciousness to society and will continue to do so. Vocabulary is the mirror of culture in its shortest definition. It covers the words, idioms, prepositions, and proverbs of the language spoken by a society. In other words, vocabulary studies can be called as researches about the culture of societies. Considering that the vocabulary of poets and writers are the most important mediators of culture, this study examines the contributions of İsmail Gaspıralı, who came to the fore with the style and language of his era, not only in the Crimea but also to provide Turkish Language Unity to the whole Turkish World. Our thesis titled Concepts Classification and Vocabulary of İsmail Gaspıralı's Works consists of introduction and four main chapters. In the introductory part, firstly Crimea and Crimean History, Geography, Crimean Turkish, later, we gave information about Gaspirali's life, works and literary his personality. In the first chapter, we made a semantic classification based on the index of Gaspirali's works. In the second chapter, belonging to Gaspıralı and maintaining the original shape by Yavuz Akpinar, Turkey Turkish translated Novels and Stories; Intellectual Works; Language, Literature and Travel Writings and Educational writings called, 4-volume books was scanned and the word groups used in the literature were determined and arranged in alphabetical order. In the third chapter, we have determined the frequency of words in Gaspirali's books. In the fourth chapter, we prepared the index of İsmail Gaspıralı's word framework. In the end, we finished by showing the source works and papers that we benefited from to conduct this study.
