İsmâîl Rüsûhî-yi Ankaravî Şerh-i Mesnevî (Mecmû'atu'l-Letâyif ve Matmûratu'l-Ma'ârif) (volume IV) (analysis-text-glossary)

In this study, the forth volume of the literary work called Mecmû'atu'l-Letâyif ve Matmûratu'l-Ma'ârif (Serh-i Mesnevi), a third full Turkish commentary written by İsmail Rüsûhi-yi Ankaravî for Mesnevî written in Persian by Mevlânâ Celaleddin Rûmi, one of the most valuable figures in Turkish Literature has been analyzed. Some controversial information has been accessed among the sources about the life of İsmail Rüsûhi-yi Ankaravî who has a special place among the ones that have expounded Mevlana and is far-famed across the Ottoman territory as "Hazret-i Şârih" and an attempt has been made to remove these controversies in the light of information gathered. Then the most appropriate copies have been determined by evaluating all the obtainable copy/ copies of Mecmû?atu?l-Letâyif ve Matmûratu?l-Ma?ârif and the text was romanized. After that, the work has been analyzed in terms of the aim of the author, commentary method, sources and sufistic opinions. Finally, a glossary based upon the text has been prepared.
