Dela'ilü'l-Khairat is an awrad and dhikrs book which contains prayers and Salawat to Muhammad (saw), his lineage, his companions, and his wives, as well as the names of Allah, the names of the prophet, and several hadiths. It was written by Sheikh Muhammed bin Süleyman el-Cezuli (d. 870 h.), who was the founder of the Cezuliyye branch of the Şazeliyye cult. Although it had been first read by the members of the Şazeliyye cult, it became very popular in Anatolia and North Africa later on. It was read by believing in its grace not only by members of the cult but also by the general public. As a result of this reputation, Dela'ilü'l-Khairat also attracted the writers of religious-Sufistic tradition and has become the subject of translation and interpretation studies. Delâ'ilü'l-Khairat, contains multiple issues of commentaries preferred in the Classical Turkish Literature. Especially in the field of religious-Sufistic Turkish Literature, many commentaries have been written about it. The most important one of the prose commentaries is the commentary written by Kara Davud-zade Mehmed Efendi (d. 1170 h.). Kara Davud-zade added anecdotes and information from other sources to his commentary, and, as a result, produced a very extensive work. One of the examples of poetical commentaries written for Dela'ilü'l-Khairat is Ruh-ı Kemal written by İsmail Sadık Kemal, who lived between 1828-1892. Considering that the commentaries written on Dela'ilü'l-Khairat are generally in the form of prose, İsmail Sadık's commentary is important in the sense that it is a verse. The study consists of three main sections. In the first section, the literary life of İsmail Sadık Kemal is examined under subtitles such as his life, works, and literary personality. The second section is divided into two main headings, namely the Form Characteristics of the Work and the Content Characteristics of the Work. The work is examined in detail with various subheadings under these two subheadings. Finally, in the third section, by specifying the publication details, the text that is the subject of the study is presented in the form of transcription.
