Life, literly personality and theaters of İsmet Hürmüzlü

Kirkuk is a geography where many peoples, religions, and languages live together. In addition, Kirkuk has a special place for Iraq in terms of its cultural heritage. The most important of these legacies is Iraqi-Turkmen literature. However, in Iraqi Turkmen literature, İsmet Hürmüzlü has founding importance especially in the field of theater. Hürmüzlü is a man of culture not only in the field of literature and theater but also in different branches of art. Hürmüzlü, who became famous especially with his theater plays, was able to touch the public with the language element he used in his works, and with sincere and emotional words, he changed the attitude of the people towards the theater in a positive way. In this thesis, the life of İsmet Hürmüzlü, who contributed greatly to the development of the Iraqi Turkmen theater in particular and the development of literature in general, will be examined within the framework of his literary personality and theaters.
