Abstract (EN)
The effective and efficient use of water resources in our country is a very important factor for human life. To use water resources correctly, in this study, monthly flow estimation for the next month will be made using the monthly flows monitored and reported since previous years in the light of the data received from the State Hydraulic Works in Akarçay Stream, Çandır Stream, Dalaman Stream and Yalvaç Stream located in Isparta and its surroundings. The flow estimate deals with the simple regression method and a new linear regression equation developed in this study. The monthly streamflow estimation with these specified methods will allow us to examine the existing water resources and ensure the efficient use of water resources. In addition, it is an effective study in terms of taking the necessary precautions in possible flood situations in the future. It will minimize the potential loss of life and property. The State Hydraulic Works, which determines the water policies of our country, has AGİ (Flow Observation Station) in the streams mentioned above and reports the passing flows daily. With the help of the regression equation we created with the help of monthly average flows received from the State Hydraulic Works, future monthly flows were estimated in the light of previous data.
