Determination of disaster awareness and physiological qualification levels of the people living in Isparta city center

People have been experiencing disasters for centuries. In addition to natural disasters, technological and man- made disasters have been adversely affecting human life in recent years. One of the biggest reasons for such incidents in which people are helpless is that human beings cannot provide resistance against disasters. Today's disaster managment system is developing a system covering this deficiency and trying to make people a disaster- ready society. The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the affected people both physically and psychologically and to create a road map for disaster-resistant society by providing awareness, awareness and psychological competence of the people living in Isparta. This is a preliminary study in order to increase the responsiveness of individuals by identifying which studies should be concentrated and where there are deficiencies by creating a questionnaire form as a result of literature review. As a result of the research, indivuals who have experienced disasters at the provincial level, have not been exposed to disasters, but those whose relatives have experienced disasters and those who have never experienced diasters have been evaluated with criteria such as gender, age, educational status, and despite the occurrence of disaster awareness phenomena in individuals, psychological competence and physics deficiencies were observed, such as what to do, how to create a plan of action at the time of a disaster. For this reason, the necessity of effective and comprehensive working dynamics such as training, institutions and organizations to take responsibility and developing provincial based simulation systems have emerged.
