Abstract (EN)
The lighthouse's definition, concept, light source and optical equipment's; and the classification and historical development of Turkey's lighthouses are discussed in the 1st section. In addition to that, the 7 known lighthouses at Istanbul Bosphorus are also mentioned in detail. The definition and history of savage buildings; and some information about Istanbul Bosphorus' s Savage buildings that are still used are discussed in the 2nd section. Riva Savage Building is examined according to architectural plan and a restoration project is presented with respect to known protection problems in the 3rd and final section. The list of the lighthouse at 1911 and the catalog of known Turkish lighthouses are given in appendices. Keywords: sea, lighthouse, savage, ship, light, tower, color of light XI
